We’re so excited. Today is the big day. You can now officially listen to our new EP streaming everywhere, so what are you waiting for?
This project has been a true labor of love, and we wanted to share a little more of how it all came together with you today. From the first notes on an acoustic guitar to the final mix you’re listening to now (you’re listening while you read this, right?), the songs transformed many times along the way. They truly became full band efforts with some really special moments in the final stretch.
To finish out the songs, Brian laid down the keyboard tracks to make the atmosphere just right on each song. While he's more comfortable on guitar, we think you'll agree that the keyboards added to the songs and were worth him moving from his typical instrument.
John and Matt dove deep into the percussion bag of tricks, playing everything from tambourines to shakers to Yeti cups to music stands - no sound was left untried. Each layer of percussion added a new energy and life to the final product.
One of our favorite moments, the EP closes with a beautiful piano part on the song Through The Maze played at home by Brian’s son Jaden, adding a deeply personal touch that makes it just that much more special.
This has been an epic journey, and we’re so grateful to have you with us for the ride. We’re already dreaming up what’s next – and we can’t wait to share the next chapter with you.
